Sometimes it can feel that you are trapped in a situation and there is no way out. Remember no situation is so hopeless that there is no way out. Tell an adult that you feel safe with. It is okay to talk about it. Please stop by, visit Ms. McLeod, and talk about it. If there is an emergency before or after school, please call 911 or 627-6200 in The Pas.

 

If you want to talk to someone about yourself or a friend and do not want to give out your name, call KIDS HELP PHONE 1-800-668-6868. It is FREE and OPEN 24/7!

A school counselor might help with many issues, including... friendship bullying grades organization family change middle school/high school transition personal issues (depression, anxiety, mental or physical health) clothing/food needs and more... Student Guidance Counsellor

Our school counsellor will be distributing handbooks from the Status of Women Minister to all Grade 8 girls. These handbooks cover topics such as human rights, healthy choices, communications, relationships, and career development. If you do not want your child to receive this handbook or have further questions about its content, simply contact Barb McLeod at 623-3411.
